Yeah - Mr. Consistency
I shall not comment further on my blogging consistency. Just too painful...
We had a wonderful time at the ZOE Conference in Nashville. The worship was wonderful. The times with friends were great. Even the breakout sessions we attended were good (not always the case). It even worked out that we had lunch on Saturday with Brandon and Sheryl Thomas and their kids. They're very nice folks, very genuine. I would hope that we can develop that friendship over time. (no expectation, though)
We also had fun (mostly) this past weekend at our BH Middle School Retreat. We were in Copper Hill, TN. They said the cabins (bunkhouses, really) were heated. What they meant was there is a heater inside. It got down to about 28 - and it was, at BEST, 45 inside. We did not pack to be sleeping in 45 degrees! Therefore, we did NOT sleep. It was WAY too cold! Bonus - they do not have an enclosed dining hall, so we ate outside too. Breakfast at 30 degrees! (including the food, quite quickly!) Nonetheless, we did have a great time with everyone. I hope that we were a blessing to the kids. I was one of the speakers for the weekend.
My wonderful pulled groin muscle from PBC this summer flared up again on the retreat - I'm beginning to wonder if it will EVER heal. This is bringing me down.
Birthday soon, then the PBC SuperWeek Retreat. Meanwhile, I am learning about a method of generating income from the stock market. (Don't worry, family. I practice for a year before I start trading with real money. And Natalie is going through the course too (though a bit slower) so she can hold me accountable for following the rules.) If this thing works out, in 5 years or less things will be VERY different for us. Here's hoping...

Mike,
I don't know if we'll be at the retreat or not. Amber and I have talked about it but have yet to decide...
We were hoping to go to the USC-Arkansas game Nov 4.
hope things are well,
Josh
