Jazzed about SuperWeek
Yeah, it's 3 months away - but I'm JAZZED about SuperWeek. I'm so eager to see what the "next generation" will do this time around. I'm loving that we're in the last stages of the transition to PBCNext. I'm excited for the folks who are now driving the bus and I can hardly wait to see what happens!
God be praised!

Me too, I can't wait to see what their going to do. Wait a minute.........I better get to work.
It goes well my friend.
Yeah, those new guys better get on the stick! "Jazzed", is that like "jazz hands"? I'll be a lot more jazzed when it's over...
Ahh, "The Next Generation."
Hopefully we're a lot better than Jean Luke Picard and Data (especially in comparison to Willy Shatner and Spock).
However, if we're assigning Star Trek characters I'd like to be the Reading Rainbow guy with the cool shades. I already feel like a geek for writing this.
Hey, don't knock Jean Luke and Data! I may be a bigger geek than you are... I happen to remember that the "Reading Rainbow" guy is LeVar Burton, also known as "Geordi LaForge." I also know where the name came from. There was a real guy (big Star Trek fan) named George LaForge who died, so the name "Geordi LaForge" is in tribute to him... but you don't have to take my word for it.
oops! Should be "Luc" not "Luke"...
Thanks for pointing all that out Becky, now I don't have to. Yes, I'm one of those people too.

I would only trade in my PBC title of Lord of the Rings if I could be Lt. Junior Grade Warf, later full Lt. Warf played by Michael Dorn. That bandalier is crazy cool
P Murph you could be a LT but then my husband will out rank you;)
To continue the very strained PBC-Trek metaphor, it really is like the TNG series. No one ever dreamed of Picard replacing Kirk. The new show was great in its own way. Different than the original, but paying homage to it in many ways. I remember watching the first episode and just loving the cameo appearance by Dr. McCoy, as a 100+ year old grump who tours the new Enterprise. He concludes the episode by saying, "you've got a fine ship here. Treat her right, and she'll always bring you home." Superweek is like the Enterprise--no matter who the crew is, it's a fine ship. (OK. That's enough geek-speak for one comment!)
Well Loren, I don't think your husband works for the United Ferderation of Planets; so there. Does anyone speak enlish anywhere?
P Murph you're such a stud!
