Updates

Natalie's uncle is hanging in there.

I only made 32 days of the burpee challenge. I got sick, and had to let it go. I'll pick it up (from the start) again in a while.

I overhead squatted 165# for reps last week.

We are still working to get our anniversary dinner done - and our 18th anniversary was 1/5! On our anniversary we ate dinner at Chik-Fil-A. Yippee.

We got a new vacuum cleaner. A Kenmore Progressive. It seems to be a very good vacuum. It has a "dirt sensor" built in, so you keep vacuuming until the light is green. Apparently our former vacuum sucked, because it did NOT suck. It seems our carpets are FILTHY. I literally vacuumed our bedroom for over 45 minutes until the machine was *mostly* happy with the results. So now vacuuming is like a video game...

Natalie and I are taking "Financial Peace University" online at www.daveramsey.com - this is good.

My wife is an amazing person. (That last one is not news, and is not an update. However, it IS true.)

Reunion and a new PR

I'm very much looking forward to the return of my family from WV. They've gone up there to visit Natalie's uncle one last time - he is at home with hospice care with end-stage cancer. I'm glad they all got to go visit, and I think they all feel blessed for the opportunity.

Meanwhile, a new PR (personal record) for 30 muscle-ups today. The first time I did that workout was in Jax over Thanksgiving. I completed it in 11:09. This time it only took 6:59. I'm quite proud of the improvement.

I'm participating in a "burpee challenge" also. 1 burpee the first day, 2 the second day, etc., up through 100 days. I'm WAY behind since I took a few days off while I was sick this week. Gotta get caught up!
